Introducing the Adastra RM4460, a feature-packed multi-zone mixer-amplifier with 240W of output power split over 4 zones (4 x 60W). Its wide range of features makes it a perfect choice for everything from bars and restaurants to warehouses and offices where varying volumes, audio sources, and even announcements are required in different areas.
Each zone has a line output, dedicated volume control and input source selection, and EQ is also provided with Bass and Treble control for inputs 1, 2 and 3. Bluetooth, USB, Auxiliary and FM are all featured here, with the option to extend the radio signal by a dedicated external aerial. An existing fire alarm system can also be integrated.
One of the most important features, however, is that it can be integrated with the existing Adastra CS4 call station microphone system, allowing zonal-specific or site-wide (all call) announcements up to 100m away from the amplifier's location. This is connected via network cable and works perfectly for zone-specific announcement systems. A standard microphone can also be connected and features VOX priority on input 1.
Another unique, lesser-known feature not often seen on a majority of other amplifiers is the dual output terminals; one for 100V and the other for low impedance. These can be used in conjunction with each other thanks to the two integrated independent amp chips, each dedicated to these different outputs.
An example of where this would be ideal would be a restaurant where a large seating area requires background music and a separate smaller bar area that required fewer speakers but at higher volume and much more fidelity. The two outputs can be used together in this scenario to achieve the best of both outputs from the amp (100V for the restaurant area and low impedance for the bar).
